Getting more out of Broadband - I know what kind of router I have to get - what else do I need?

All our routers have 4 wired ports for plugging in computers that don't need to connect to the network by WiFi - perhaps you have a desktop machine that's already right at your modem so doesn't need to move? If so, you can just plug it straight into one of the router's 4 wired ports with an Ethernet cable.

You'll need WiFi network adaptors for each PC or laptop you want to connect wirelessly - consult the guide at our knowledgebase for advice: WiFi adaptor guide.
