Is the ADSL Ethernet Modem AVR-8000 compatible with Wanadoo?
Information correct as of 23/07/2005.
All current Wanadoo packages support home networking.
Our ADSL modems will connect to Wanadoo and should be configured as follows:
User Name
Using the pattern below, replace "yourname" as approriate and select the correct format:
yourname.fsnet.co.uk@fs
yourname.fsbusiness.co.uk@fs
yourname.fslife.co.uk@fs
yourname.fsworld.co.uk@fs
NB This User Name only applies to configuring your broadband router or modem.
Password
Use your normal Wanadoo password.
IP Address
Leave blank or select option "Assigned Automatically (by ISP)" if available.
DNS
Leave blank or select option "Assigned Automatically (by ISP)" if available.
If you must enter DNS addresses then use 195.92.195.94 and 195.92.195.95
Encapsulation
PPPoA - PPP Over ATM
Multiplexing Method
VC-Based
Virtual Circuit
VPI = 0
VCI = 38
Please note that a USB modem is unable to support home networking and must be replaced with an ADSL Ethernet modem - click here to purchase.
