I've installed the 2Wire router, but I'm having trouble connecting to some websites...

If you have installed a 2Wire router/modem 1000/1701HG/1800/2700HG series, and can surf the web just fine apart from some websites, such as MySpace, eBay and Hotmail, or having trouble downloading email with Outlook Express, you may need to adjust your MTU settings.

Log into the router's management console page at page at http://192.168.1.254/mdc

On the left side under "Advanced", click on "Configure Services"

Set the "Force Upstream MTU" value to 1396 then hit Submit. Reboot the modem/router.
